Hi, I am Charlie.
I’m an Esri-certified GIS professional, CompTIA CTT+ certified technical trainer, and web map developer based in Hanoi, Vietnam. Originally from the Philippines, I’ve been living and working in Vietnam since April 2017.
With 14 years of combined experience in research, data management, geospatial analysis, 2D/3D GIS visualization, and web GIS app development, I specialize in creating decision support web maps, conducting location analytics, and developing data-driven dashboards. I also enjoy designing responsive and visually appealing websites to help individuals and businesses enhance their online presence.
Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to work in various countries. A highlight was my 2014 summer internship at Esri HQ in Redlands, California, where I gained invaluable experience with the ArcGIS Platform. I’ve also conducted GIS technical workshops in the Philippines, Vietnam, and India.
Outside of work, I keep up with the latest mobile gadgets, stay updated on Windows and Android OS, indulge in photography, and follow NBA basketball.
